This Privacy Policy describes how TransEd ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, processes, discloses, and protects your personal data when you visit or register on the FIITJEE Bhubaneswar Student Learning Portal (the "Platform").

For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA 2023), TransEd acts as the primary Data Fiduciary (Data Controller) regarding personal information processed through the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several categories of information to provide personal education services and analytics:

• Registration Profile Data: Full Name, Email Address, 10-digit Mobile Phone Number, School / Institution Name, Academic Class (VI–XII / Dropper), Target Examination (Engineering, Medical, NTSE, Olympiads, Foundations), and your Mandatory Profile Photograph.
• Academic Performance Data: Your test attempts, answers submitted, mock test scores, time spent per question, accuracy metrics, and evaluation notes.
• User Interactions: Doubts uploaded, chats/comments, support logs, and feedback submissions.
• Device & Analytics Data: IP addresses, browser agent strings, cookie session states, page views, and navigation logs on the Platform.

3. How We Collect It

We collect your data:

• Directly from you: When you complete the multi-page registration form, upload your profile photo, attempt tests, upload doubts, or save settings.
• Automatically: Through browser cookies, web server log files, and integrated front-end tracking engines (such as Google Analytics and Facebook/Meta pixels).
• From affiliates: Through student synchronization agreements with FIITJEE National or allied coaching institutions.

4. Purposes of Processing

Under DPDPA 2523, we process your personal data under the lawful bases of Consent and our Legitimate Interests. We use your data to:

• Provide you with mock test simulators, online calculators, drawing pads, and performance evaluations.
• Analyze and benchmark your academic performance to build detailed accuracy reports.
• Publish achievements, toppers list, and performance scores for publicity and marketing.
• Troubleshoot errors and defend our network against security threats or scraping scripts.

We do not sell your personal data to brokers for cash. However, we do share data with selected partners to deliver services and marketing campaigns:

• Affiliates: FIITJEE National head offices, allied study centers, and group brands (such as TransEd networks) for educational coordination.
• Processors & Service Providers: Database hosts (PocketBase, AWS), site hosting (Vercel), email delivery software, and SMS/WhatsApp Business Solution Providers (BSPs).
• Ad Platforms & Trackers: Meta (Facebook) and Google Ads for retargeting, tracking conversions, and delivering tailored campaigns.
• Legal Disclosures: If required by valid government subpoenas, data protection regulators, or to enforce our Platform Terms.

7. Data Retention

We store your profile data for as long as your student account is active. Upon request for account deletion, we will purge identifying personal data from our active tables within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal audit trails or tax compliance.

Anonymized study records, mock test score statistics, and telemetry charts may be kept indefinitely for product research.

8. Your Rights (DPDPA 2023)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have specific rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we hold and the processing activities performed.
• Right to Correction & Completion: Request updates to inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date records.
• Right to Erasure: Request the deletion of your personal data when consent is withdrawn.
• Right to Redressal of Grievances: Direct complaints or disputes to our designated Grievance Officer, or subsequently to the Data Protection Board of India.

We employ appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all api interactions, secure relational databases, and strictly isolated local network endpoints. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. You share responsibility by protecting your login passwords.
